Closer Than Fear - UE5

This piece is part of an art style study exploring psychological horror and atmosphere. The focus was on achieving an unsettling, intimate mood through hand-painted textures, a sketchy surface feel, and restrained lighting.
The character was created as a basic sculpt in ZBrush, textured in Substance Painter, and the final horror art style was achieved in Unreal Engine, using materials, lighting, and post-processing to push mood and tension.
